The review the comparison of Adjectives to give more information about London, New York and Astana;
To enrich pupils’ vocabulary;
To develop pupils’ skill in oral speech, listening, reading and writing;
To develop pupils’ interest in learning English;

Our new lesson is “Sightseeing.”
We introduce the sightseeing in the London, New York and Astana.
Look at these words. Read and study the vocabulary.
T: You will be shown some sights of the cities or interesting places. You must guess what of place it is and speak about it. You must give full information about the cities.
The first we see the popular building in the London.
The popular buildings are Big Ben, Bridge Tower, The Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace and The Tower.
Next, we see the popular building in the Astana. Astana is the capital of Kazakhstan.
The sights of Astana:” Nur-Astana” mosque, “Astana-Baiterek” monument, Akorda, the Government house, The House of Parliament.
Next, we see the sightseeing in the New York.
The popular buildings are Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty and The Building UNO.

London.
London lies on the river Thames. It has a population of over 6 million people. London is famous for its historic building St. Paul’s Cathedral, the Houses of Parliament, where you can see and hear the famous clock, Big Ben. It’s also famous for its parks. There are five in the city centre. Children’s favourite place is Hamleys, which is the biggest toyshop in the world.
London has problems with traffic and pollution.
New York
New York is on the east coast of the United States, on the Hudson River. It has a population of over seven million people. Some people think it is too dangerous. New York is famous for its tall buildings, called skyscrapers. The popular buildings are the Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty. The Statue of Liberty was a present from the people of France to the people of the United States. New York also has problems with traffic and pollution.
Astana.
Astana is the capital of Kazakhstan. Astana lies on the river Ishim. It has a population of over 700 thousand people. The popular building are the “ Nur-Astana” mosque, Ak-Orda, where you can see and hear the famous building, ”Astana-Baiterek ” monument. Astana has problems with traffic and pollution.
